Here at 3 Guys Solar, LLC, we plan our solar panel installation process in a few stages. First, we’ll make an initial visit to your home to ensure our plan for installing the panels will work and we have enough space to safely complete the installation. At that visit, we’ll talk with you about anything in your yard that should be moved to give our team easier access to the roof. You can also let us know if you have any special needs or requirements during the solar panel installation process.
Permits and Paperwork
After our visit, we’ll be off to file paperwork with the city utilities and get the proper permits to complete your solar panel installation. Once that’s done, we can finally complete the actual solar panel installation.
Timeline
The solar panel installation process usually takes us about two days. We’ll clean up any installation materials and debris, restoring your home to its clean, comfortable state. To ensure you’re satisfied with our work, we always have a county inspection completed on your newly installed panels.
We know you’d like to turn your solar panels on right away, but there’s one more step left. After we’ve completed your solar panel installation, we still must wait for the new meter from your local city utility branch to arrive.
Once the meter is installed, we’ll walk you through the solar panel monitoring software and show you how to track your solar energy savings from your smartphone. After this, your solar panel installation project will be complete!
